Re-brand developed for O.A. Chapman & Son, a family-run Chartered Surveyors, located in Norfolk (UK). Established over 100 years ago, now in its fourth generation, it is currently one of the oldest Chartered Surveyors in the county, continuing to provide services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
The updated visual identity pays tribute to the organisations founder, Oscar Chapman, by making use of the initials from his first and middle name (O & A). Reducing these characters to their simplest form and positioning the 'O' on top of the 'A' creates a keyhole device, providing a visual reference to the nature of the company's business; the surveying of properties.
A customised display typeface has been developed to compliment the logo mark, featuring the 'O' and 'A' as glyphs, alongside the full set of standard characters, providing a distinctive asset for the company to use internally across all communications. The two graphic shapes of the ‘O’ and ‘A’ are used extensively across a variety of additional applications, including a number of animated sequences, die cut document covers and signage.
