Visual identity developed for BrocStar, a range of health-based products containing a super charged strain of broccoli developed by scientists at Norwich Research Park

This super-brocolli contains up to 5 times the ammount of sulphuraphane (a compound known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and potential anticancer properties) as traditoinal broccoli.

BrocStar products include coated penauts, a powdered soup and a line of smoothie drinks with 3 flavour variants, each with their own unique properies and health benefits.

The concept at the heart of the identity is amplify the science behind the ‘super-broccoli’, challenging the perception that it could be seen as boring and unpalatable. Naming provides a platform in which to build the persona of a rock star, making use of cultural references associated to the music industry.
